This article in no way violates Gather’s Terms of Service, and from what I can tell the site that she links to is not a white supremacist website (though I invite you to show me some proof). There was no valid reason to attempt to censor this article...

Letter To Gather.com

October 28, 2010 -- Dear Gather.com, Thank you for your correspondence yesterday to inform me that I violated the Gather.com's TOS, By copy and pasting someone elses comments to another article. I'd like to take this time to apologize to Gather.com for unwittingly violating that policy. I have been a member since 2006, (almost 5 years) and I had forgotten about this rule, but take full responsibility for my actions. I think it is important that everyone here on Gather.com refresh themselves regularly with these policies, as it is important to be civil to each other and abide by the rules...

Flagged for Harassment

October 26, 2010 -- Someone flagged one of my posts as harassment. Would love to know why someone would think it was harassment and why they wouldnt email me to let me know why they think my post was harassment. Can you flag people's comments as harassment???...

October 23, 2010 -- Hi, About a week ago, a low life on here, called *****, tried to advertise on one of my posts. I deleted the comment and he/she got very angry about it. I told her not to come back unless she had something useful to say, so she complained to Gather's management that my posts are overly commercial. Gather management took her side and has told me to take down my 600+ posts or/and leave. So, I can't see any point in posting more stuff, if it is only going to be removed...

Gather is using Selective Censorship!

October 22, 2010 -- Gather has issued me a warning saying that if I perform any more offensive posts, I may be subject to removal. Gather seems to be much like the Democrats. They allow you to take abuse but not dish it out! This had to do with the Leroy joke I posted Here is the most recent letter from support!...

Copywrite VS Plagiarism

October 19, 2010 -- Just to clairify - There is a difference. People seem to have forgotten the difference. When posting on Blogs, webpages etc... and you are attempting to make money, should you come across someone who has stolen your work, you DO have options. DMCA might be your first thought - reporting someone who has stolen copywrited work. Having just dealt with this - someone stealing my titles, urls (+ 1 letter or number) and the sub-titles...

Gather has been unfair to some people! I know of some people who have lost their gather accounts for what their referrals have done

I did not see your comment previously, but as far as I know Gather members are not held accountable for the actions of those they invite to join the community. However, members of the same household can find their accounts affected if some action is taken based upon IP address.
